A Memorial Book is a book that can be purchased in memory of a family member, friend, or pet. The book can be chosen by you or a member of the library staff. You can also select a subject area, usually, books will be chosen on a hobby, sports team, or the favorite author of the individual.
Once a book has been selected, a Memorial Book Plate will be placed in the front of the book and added to our collection. A card will be sent to the family letting them know of your donation. Once a month, the Memorial Books are published in the paper and on the Library's Web Site. We also keep a book record of all Memorials.

An Honor Book is a book that can be purchased in honor of a person for such occasions as an anniversary, a birthday, wedding day, Christmas, Easter, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, graduation or any other special occasion that one may have.
The book can be chosen by you or a member of the staff. You can also select a subject area, usually books will be chosen on a hobby, sports team or a favorite author of the individual.
Once a book has been selected, an Honor book plate will be placed in the front of the book and added to our collection. A letter will be sent to the family letting them know of your donation. Once a month the Honor books are published in the local newspaper and on the Library's web page. We also keep a book record of the Honor books.
